AGRICULTURAL MULCH AND SILAGE FILM
Mulch films help farmers improve their productivity by suppressing weed growth, maintaining humidity, and protecting roots from climatic extremes. Silage films and silage stretch wraps are used to produce and store fodder for livestock. Ensuring that these films perform over their useful life, our specialty carbons offer UV protection to prevent polymer degradation and subsequent loss in mechanical properties.

GEOMEMBRANE APPLICATIONS
Geomembranes are flexible or semi-rigid sheets that create barriers to liquid and gas leakages. They are used as landfill liners and covers, pond liners, tunnel liners and for containment or storage of water or waste. UV protection is important for geomembranes, as they can be exposed to the elements for long periods of time. In addition, maintaining the mechanical integrity of the film is critical; therefore, it is crucial to use specialty carbons that offer high levels of dispersibility to help reduce film imperfections that may lead to failure.
